The first couple of weeks of school, we have spent time getting to know each other and learning how to work together as a group. In order to accomplish this, we created an Edible Car Challenge. This was the first time completing this activity and the student's really surprised us on multiple levels! They worked really well in groups that were chosen by us and they actually created cars that worked!!! Some of the cars surprised us-it may not have looked like a "typical" car, but it met the criteria and in the end made it down the ramp!
This was a really fun activity for the student's; and I loved watching their creations come together, helping groups problem solve as they came across challenges!
